New Engine 46

 The Kutztown Fire Company is expecting delivery of a new Sutphen Engine in spring 2010.  We will post pictures of the truck on this page as it nears completion.

• 73" Monarch Cab with seating for 8 Firefighters
• 450 Hp Cummins ISM with Jake Brake
• Allison Automatic Transmission
• 1500 GPM Hale Pump
• 1000 gal Tank
• 10 KW Hydraulic Generator
• Front Intake and Discharge
• Four 1 3/4" Crosslays
• Hose bed to hold 1500' of 5", a 250' 3" Leader line, 250' 3" Blitzfire, and a 250' 2 1/2" Attack-line
• Rescue style compartments both sides
• 1000W scene lights on the front and sides of the cab
• Ladder rack holding a 28' Extension, 14' Roof and 10' Attic 
• All LED lighting package

Four members of the truck committee made the trip to Columbus, OH to do a pre-paint inspection. We made a few minor changes and were very pleased with the progress of our truck. Final delivery will be in the next 4-5 weeks.
